About the event

BC historian and Chilliwack resident, Ken Mather, will be back, telling the fascinating story of the British Columbia Express Company, popularly known as the “BX,” which ran the stagecoach line from Yale to Barkerville, starting in 1861. Its founder, Francis J.  Barnard played a major role in British Columbia history.
