We currently have two programs to financially assist community members with heritage related activities.

Heritage Designation Grant

​

Owners of heritage properties listed in the 1991 Heritage Inventory are eligible to apply to have their homes designated through the City of Chilliwack's Voluntary Heritage Designation Program. *The city may also consider homes that are not on the inventory on an individual basis.*Heritage Chilliwack offers homeowners who have applied to the program, up to $500 to cover the cost of the application. Classroom Sponsorship Program

The goal of this program is to enable teachers within the Chilliwack School District to participate in heritage school programs at the Chilliwack Museum. The focus is on visits to the museum but participation in other heritage related programs in the Chilliwack area will be considered. Classroom teachers will be able to receive up to $100 towards the cost of the field trip.  Interested teachers can download information and an application form here or contact us at: heritagechilliwack@gmail.com.
